Dental specialists complete two to six extra years of training after dental school and usually work on referral from a general dentist, although most accept patients who call directly. Orthodontists straighten teeth with braces and clear aligners; endodontists handle root canals; periodontists treat gum disease and place implants; oral and maxillofacial surgeons extract wisdom teeth, place implants and do jaw surgery, often under IV sedation; prosthodontists rebuild smiles with crowns, bridges and dentures; denture centers focus on full and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Sedation and hospital dentists serve anxious patients and people with special needs, while TMJ and sleep-apnea dentists make oral appliances for jaw pain and snoring.

Dr Drab and his staff were fantastic. My son had his wisdom teeth taken out. Procedure lasted less than 45 minutes. Dr. Drab called the evening of the procedure to check on him. Staff gives detailed directions on recovery. My son had zero recovery issues. Little to no pain and almost zero swelling.

Dr. Drab and his staff were so kind to me when I had my tooth extracted. They made sure my husband was equipped with all the knowledge and resources needed to care for me at home. I would definitely return to this office for my oral surgery needs. I would highly recommend Dr. Drab to anyone.

Our experience thus far has been great. I wont lie, it is very expensive (even with commercial insurance) but I guess "you get what you pay for." Dr. Drabbs knows his stuff. His bedside manner is top notch, and so are his nurses who assist. The front staff is courteous and polite. I have no complaints, and would recommend this office for your oral concerns.

I was extremely nervous for this appointment. Dr. Drab and his staff made this experience much better by telling me everything up front before beginning each stage. I knew what to expect and it was reassuring. Iβm 2 days out with minimal pain. It turned out to be a really good needed experience. Side note: this is the cleanest doctorβs office Iβve ever been to.
